Barista, Retail Sales, and Rentals
- Description. Wear lots of hats. We need people to work at the front counter at the Hot Spot Café. You’re a go-getter, people person extraordinaire. If you want to have fun, and learn a ton, this is the place for you.

Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers
- Description. Wear more hats! We need people to work in the kitchen at the Hot Spot Café. You like to work behind the scenes, making great food, and occasionally helping people with their bike rentals (yes, you may have to interface with humans occasionally). If this sounds like fun, and you want to learn from our Executive Chef, this may just be the place for you.

Tour Guides
- Description. These positions will lead guided tours in the Cottage Grove area. Prior theatre or acting experience is beneficial but not required. Tour guides are “actors onstage”. They will need to memorize scripts and facts about the content of the tour. There will be a test. First-Aid, CPR and AED instructor certifications will be required as a condition of employment. Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible and open to change, and sensitivity and understanding is required. Applicants should love the local area. Friendly, outgoing, self-motivated, organized, and excellent communication skills are a must. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Hours and Opportunity. Positions available are part-time. Working some weekends and evenings required May to October.

- Pay. Starts at $18 per hour. Compensation depends upon job responsibility, experience, skills, and performance. We pay very well for a small business.
